1930s/1940s, American Pottery - Yellow Diamond Shaped Ceramic Planter – Scallop Rim Pattern

A yellow, diamond shaped ceramic planter with a scalloped rim pattern and base that is connected/ part of the planter. Base does not separate from the planter portion of the piece. Perfect for indoor container gardening, succulents, or use as a storage container.
Yellow is a brighter yellow than appears in photographs. Finish in a gloss, glaze finish.
Exact date of production unknown. Circa 1940.
Measurements:
- Height: approx. 4" inches tall
- Length: approx. 6" inches long
- Base: right under 3 1/2" inches at it's widest point on the "foot" area of the base
Markings:
- Unmarked
Condition:
- Overall good, vintage condition
- Light staining/ signs of use on interior of planter from prior use as a planter
- Signs of use in the form of dirt stains/ residue in the lip of the base
- Original vintage condition with wear appropriate for age
- Each foot on the bottom of the base is chipped, but does not affect the planter's stability or functionality
